Tarrytown Nursery School Gets A New Playground!

We are pleased to announce that the new play structure for the TTNS playground will be arriving on Friday, September 18.  Tarrytown Nursery School's board and the teachers would like to thank our families and alumni for their fundraising work and contributions to make this possible for our current and future students.

On a work-related note, we need parents to assist us after school tomorrow, Thursday, September 17, at 11:45 am to help do the final touches (weeding, mulch moving) to prepare the playground area for the installation.

Please help if you can!

Spring Fundraiser, Saturday March 28

Please join us for "A Night at the Phenix", a Live & Silent Auction to benefit TTNS.  This major  fundraiser will be held at the Phenix Fire House, located at the corner of Mechanics & Central Ave, Tarrytown, from 7:30 - 11:30 pm. 

Ticket prices this year have been reduced to $20 per person, including music, food, beer, wine, dessert, coffee & tea.    Bring your family and friends-BUT LEAVE THE KIDS HOME THIS NIGHT!  This is a night for the adults to get together and have some fun, while supporting our children's school!

Please RSVP with payment to your child's teacher.  It would be great to see everyone there for this night of fun and fundraising!

Board Meeting Scheduled Friday, March 6

We'll be trying something new for our Board Meeting this month:  Friday, daytime.  Please join us at 11:45 am  in Miss Rosie's room.  Bring some snacks for the kids in tow.  See you there!

Board Meeting Cancelled Tonight!

The board meeting scheduled for tonight, February 3rd, has been cancelled due to concerns about the weather.  This meeting will be rescheduled to another date, to be announced soon.

Next Board Meeting Tuesday, February 3rd

We will not re-schedule the January meeting, which was cancelled due to inclement weather.  All are welcome and encouraged to attend the next meeting, on Tuesday, February 3rd, at 8pm in the school lobby.  Hope to see you there!

Mitten Tree a huge success!

Thank you to everyone for your kindness and generosity.  The mitten tree provided much needed items and compassion to appreciative families in our community. 

Registration for 2009/2010 - This Saturday, January 10th

Member and Alumni registration is tomorrow (if you have not already pre-registered) at the school at 8am. Outside registration is January 24th at 8am at the school.  Thanks for your support!

Mitten Tree Donations!

What an easy and effective way to give to a community member in need this holiday season.  The mitten tree is up!  If you haven't already taken a mitten with a suggested donation, there are a few available in the school lobby.  If you have already taken one, please bring your item to the school by Friday, December 19.  There will also be a collection of toiletries, if you would like to contribute items, they will be greatly appreciated.  Happy Holidays to everyone.
