OUR EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY The Tarrytown Nursery School grounds its curriculum in a Learning Through Play philosophy. Play is the work of childhood—the chief vehicle for the development of imagination, intelligence, language, social skills, and perceptual-motor abilities in young children.
